PhD defense on the 5th of April of 2013 at 14 pm in the Pico da Urze Auditorium, campus of Azores Universidade in Angra do Heroismo

As you all know, in Praia da Vitória bay, from January 2009 until December 2012 happen part of a research project that culminated in the following PhD dissertation:

HOW CAN SCIENCE CONTRIBUTE FOR THE SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCE?

PRAIA DA VITORIA BAY AND GUADIANA ESTUARY, A COMPARATIVE STUDY

The research project is much broader than what happen in Praia da Vitória bay and the PhD defense is a moment of evaluation of the scientific quality of the work undertaken. Therefore, the target audience is the juries in charge of such evaluation. Nevertheless, I want to share this moment with you and inform you that the event is public.  

Once more I am grateful for your cooperation in this project. From a personal and professional point of view this was marvelous and enriching step and, as the title of the thesis suggests, I hope that the work undertaken contributed for the goal we all share.
